CHANEL’S Hamburg 2017/18 Métiers d’art show after party – Event design

THE JOB: Recreate 1930’s feel of the Hamburg harbour in an original warehouse and make it feel welcoming, glamorous and festive for Karl’s distinguished guests from all around the globe.
CONCEPT: Hanseatic harbour nostalgia
BIGGEST CHALLENGE: Dripping candle wax on what felt like a gazilion bottle / candle holders
WOW MOMENT: The big reveal, when the sea container was lifted up to reveal the event bar underneath. And ofcourse the nod of approval from the master himself, Karl RIP, a true legend.
